Whether you first encountered her at the front desk, leading SilverSneaker® classes or Group Training, you've probably shared a laugh with our cheerful interning trainer, Kati. She's willingly pitched in wherever we've needed help and even dressed up in a dog costume on her Saturday off to join RHF members for a haunted workout maze. We're so grateful to have Kati on the RHF team this year and excited to let you all learn a little more about her!
What's your favorite thing about working at RHF?
My favorite thing about working at RHF is the community atmosphere and how people make friends here or have friends that work out here. Another reason is being able to help members so they can have a positive exercise experience.
Tell us a little about how you came to be a trainer. When did you first become interested in health and fitness?
Ever since I started running my freshman year of high school I have loved running and working out with people. Then running my first year in college taught me a lot of exercises that I never knew. The ability to incorporate exercise and nutrition was a huge factor to becoming interested in health and fitness.
What's the craziest thing you've ever done to stay fit?
The craziest thing that I've ever done to stay fit is running a marathon before I graduated college. It took a lot of time to train for it, but I loved the end result. Now I have a deep love for marathons!
