When did you first join RHF?
I started doing CrossFit on April 20th, 2014.
What made you join?
I needed a change. I had been doing aerobics classes and occasionally boot camp classes. It seemed like the more I did the more weight I gained it wasn't challenging enough and too far away; RHF is only 3 minutes away.
What is your favorite thing about CrossFit?
I appreciate my instructor, his words of encouragement and patience strengthens me. My fellows cross mates are very supportive as well.
What is your least favorite thing about CrossFit?
I wish there was a Sunday evening CrossFit as well.
What kind of results are you getting?
I'm so strong and very confident I can do my day-to-day activities so much easier now. Recently I spent a week in New York and because of CrossFit I had the strength and energy to keep moving.
What would you tell someone interested in joining but might be intimidated?
I was very concerned about if I could hang with CrossFit. I would tell someone they are capable of doing more than they think—just lean on the instructor and the group, be consistent and never, never, never, never give up. For me this is a way of life now!
