CrossFit consists of constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity. Exercises can be scaled for any athletic ability, limitation or experience level with participants working under the guidance of a CrossFit Certified trainer. Classes range from small to large groups and focus on increasing overall fitness that is measurable and repeatable through short, mid, and long range workouts using running, rowing, kettlebells, plyometrics, gymnastics, olympic and powerlifting. RHF CrossFit has no maximum class size and has its own space (inside the modular).
Group Training is slightly less intense, does not involve lifting heavy weights and consists of mostly functional movements. RHF Group Training follows the NASM Optimum Performance Training™ (OPT™) Model to help members achieve their desired goals in stabilization, strength and hypertrophy. Comprised of small groups with a maximum of 6 people, it's ideal for any athletic ability or exposure to exercise and is directed by a certified personal trainer. Group Training includes basic exercises such as squats, push-ups and shoulder presses and is held in the gym. Classes focus primarily on body composition change through moderate to intense circuit workouts using bodyweight and light weightlifting movements. Each class lasts about an hour and are offered nearly every hour.
