Our SilverSneakers® fitness programs are offered at Rainier Health & Fitness on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. On Tuesday and Friday mornings we feature Core Strengthening for older adults. On Thursdays, seniors can breath deeply, relax and stretch with SilverSneakers® Yoga Stretch. All RHF SilverSneakers® classes are offered in conjunction with a SilverSneakers® fitness center membership.

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase balance, muscular strength, range of movement and activity for daily living skills. Use small, hand-held weights, a band with handles and a ball for resistance. SilverSneakers® I is lower impact than SilverSneakers® II, incorporating a chair for seated and/or standing support. Our most popular class for older adults!
This class is similar to the format of SilverSneakers® I but slightly more advanced. You won't find chairs in this class and it features a more challenging routine with cardio.
SilverSneakers® Yoga for Older Adults
Thursday: 9:00 AM
SilverSneakers® yoga will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity. All fitness levels are welcome.
Total Body Core & Circuit for Older Adults
Tuesday & Friday: 9:00 AM
Wednesday: 9:00 AM
Meet new friends and have lots of fun with this class designed to improve coordination and endurance. Strengthen your core and complete a circuit training for a total body workout. Focus on your core Tuesdays and Fridays. Complete a total body circuit on Wednesdays.
