Designed with members who regularly do high-intensity workouts such as CrossFit, power yoga focuses on mobility of hips, shoulders, ankles and wrists. This class is designed to keep your joints flexible so you can lift weights easily and smoothly. Not your average stretch class, power yoga incorporates boot camp exercises such as crunches and cardio with Vinyasa flow movements. Don't be surprised if you get a burpee or two in before the class is finished!
Explore the balance between "being" and "becoming" by learning how to fully and lovingly accept your body as it is in the moment. Guiding you with deep respect, instructors will lead you towards strong alignment through intelligent sequencing. All fitness levels welcome!
Pilates focuses on core strengthening by emphasizing small, fluid movements that simultaneously increase flexibility. It's appropriate for all fitness levels so you can jump into a class at any time. Members have reported remarkable results as a result of taking Pilates at Rainier Health & Fitness.
